Ok, so we need to think about things we can put into our Scout's Own for next weekend, and also discuss what we thought of the one the Basic kiddies put together.

Ah the scouts own, I liked what they did, i just felt it was missinga couple of things- firstly they still had jumpers on- and no matter what religion that doesnt fly, 2 there was no rover prayer and it was a rover scouts own, 3 i like the theme but i also like scouts owns without themes that are a blending of everyone involved- Maybe we should put together the Gibson Rover Crew, ceremonial scouts own and all put a piece of us in there...

I thought what they had was good, but it needed something else as well (apparently they were supposed to have a song as well, but it didn't eventuate).
My theory with a Scout's Own is you need to mix it up a bit - variety is the spice of life!
I like all the suggestions, we need to decide on theme or no theme and commit. Maybe my "100 Years of Scouting" might fit?
A song even like Kum Ba Ya would be alright. If everyone contributes one item and one person co-ordinates it all.
ny song would work- we dont evern have to sing, we can find a piece of music and play it for reflection time if there is one that ties in- i agree rails, we need to first choose theme or no theme- i vote for maybe using unity- we all come from different backgrounds.. maybe that could be our link and we could include personal reflections on a first meeting with a member of the crew?
